12th Meeting of the EAU Robotic Urology Section

The world’s foremost meeting on robotic urology is coming to Spain! On 15-17 September, international expert surgeons will give state-of-the-art lectures, training and live surgery demonstrations in Bilbao.

A comprehensive scientific programme was designed by the EAU’s Robotic Urology Section (ERUS) to appeal to both young urologists and those already familiar with robotic surgery. The key ingredient of ERUS15 is live surgery: different procedures will be performed by the world’s foremost experts like Alex Mottrie, Peter Wiklund and Joan Palou, all in accordance with the EAU’s stringent guidelines for live surgery events[PDF]. The meeting encourages interaction, so don’t miss this chance to network with colleagues for future cooperation.

Robotic surgery can be easy to learn, but it is difficult to master! Hands-on training is offered as an introduction to robotic surgery or, for the first time, as a moreadvanced “Maestro” course. Five different courses by the European School of Urology are offered as well, and can be added to your registration. You will find a complete overview of HOT courses in the scientific programme.

Bilbao is a major cultural centre on the northern coast of Spain, renowned for its arts, modern architecture and cuisine. ERUS15 delegates can look forward to a special tour and dinner at the Guggenheim Museum.
