Michael Z David ResearchGate
Dr. David studied medicine at Yale University. He has studied the epidemiology of MRSA in the USA including studies in jails, rural Alaska, at academic medical centres, and in cystic fibrosis patients. He has examined the many definitions used for community-associated MRSA infections.

José M. Miró ResearchGate
Dr. José M. Miró has been Senior Consultant of Infectious Diseases at the Hospital Clinic – IDIBAPS of Barcelona since 2001. He is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona, and Director of the MASTER on AIDS of the University of Barcelona. His research fields are focused on infective endocarditis.

7th SEEC - Early Registration Deadline 15 September

The 7th South East European Congress of Chemotherapy and Infection (SEEC) takes place 13-15 October 2016 in Romania. As in previous years, this meeting is held under the auspices of the ISC. During the congress, the ISC's Hepatitis Working Group will present a symposium entitled: “Hepatitis: epidemiology, problems and new therapy” featuring presentations from Alpaslan Tanoglu, Ergenekon Karagoz, Monkez M. Yousif and Fatma Amer.

Environmental Cleaning Survey

On behalf of the ISC's Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Working Group, you are invited to complete an anonymous survey on Environmental Cleaning.
The objective is to provide a perspective on cleaning and disinfecting practices in hospitals internationally. The questionnaire should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. To participate, please click HERE.
