ISC Supporting Young Scientists

Members of an ISC Member Society, age 35 years and under, can apply for up to 4 individual grants and successful applicants will be fully funded to attend ICAAC / ICC, San Diego, 17-21 September 2015.  Deadline for applications is 21st May.  APPLY HERE

HUMA Awardee Announced!

Professor Alastair Geddes will receive the ISC’s Hamao Umezawa Memorial Award (HUMA), which will take place on September 20th.   The award, bestowed by the Microbial Chemistry Research Foundation of Japan in honor of the late Professor Umezawa, is given for outstanding contributions in the field of chemotherapy. Opening Keynote Speaker Announced!
Barbara E. Murray, MD (Univ. of Texas Med. Sch. and Ctr. for the Study of Emerging and Re-emerging Pathogens, Houston, TX) will give the Opening Keynote on Friday, September 18, 2015. Murray is an internationally recognized expert in infectious diseases and in antibiotic resistance, and is considered one of the world’s experts on enterococci.  Read more HERE....
