Highlighted Plenary Session: Challenging the Evidence
On Saturday we start our Scientific Programme with Plenary Session 1: Evidence-based medicine vs common practice chaired by Prof. J. N'Dow and Prof. H. Van Poppel. In this session inspiring speakers will address challenging clinical scenarios and treatment decisions that urologists have to deal with in daily practice. One of them is Prof. A. Morgentaler (Boston, US) who will give a lecture about Testosterone therapy.

Special sessions for Young Urologists 
The EAU has some interesting sessions in store for young urologists and residents. For example, Dr. Sedelaar will speak about the EAU and leadership in a recently announced session that looks into the EAU's long-term strategies. Additionally, we have a new special European Board of Urology (EBU) session for young urologists including a discussion on setting urological training standards across Europe.

New special session: EAU Research Foundation Meeting
For the first time the EAU's Research Foundation (EAU RF) has its own special session on Saturday 12 March from 14:45 to 17:00 hrs. The EAU RF will take the opportunity to not only present an update on its currently running projects, but also to emphasise these projects’ relevance for daily practice for urologists and patients alike.
